bob, SI does not and would not take money 'to give A@P's site a little mention'. There is an advertising legitimate way you can place a banner or put yourself in a 'special search engine'. Our site has done that but stopped simply because the banners were put on the site where members could choose not to see it. If we do it again, it will also be legitimate ads, but so far we have not done it in months.

Any company that makes the kind of money that AP claims would not have to be a shnorer* and could pay the few k's a month for advertising. And any company as large as prestigious as GNET would never lay themselves so low by accepting money from A@P just to give him more leeway. That is not the way GNET operates. So there should be NO DOUBT in your mind that GNET is not doing that. (Whether A@P ever tried at any point in time is anybodies guess, but whether you are a fan or not of A@P's , his trademark may be a little aggressive and abrasive to some, but first and foremost he too is a businessman, he doesn't overturn tables, whine, he has a fine website and staff, and has a keen business sense.)...

SHNORER* comes from a Yiddish expression meaning someone trying to get himself something for nothing. Usually the shnorer in this meaning has enough money to afford what he shnorers..
