I disagree. To shift through misinformation one needs literacy and the Congress has been taking advantage of these "illiterates."

This is directly at variance with the views expressed by some here that people are capable of making intelligent choices even if they are illiterate.

So, you agree that the BJP is being perceived to be a good party by stalwarts like Arun Nehru! This is an improvement!!

Arun Nehru has his own agenda. To him, the BJP is neither a good party nor a bad party; it is just a suitable vehicle to further his political ambitions. Nothing less, nothing more. If the BJP ends up in a vulnerable and precarious position with 180 or so seats and the NDA squeaks through with a razor-thin majority of 10 or 15 seats, as seems most likely now, he is the man to watch.
