Admitted the error with ATHM.

Bought back the October 40's at 9 7/8.
Sold the January 50's for 7 7/8.

Basis is 32 9/16. Gain limited to 17 7/16 through January 21, 2000.

3 months, $2 cash plus commissions returned $8 potential profit back to me.

Long term hold now. <ggg>
