MEXICO CITY, Oct. 1 (Reforma/Infolatina)-- Mining production in Mexico continued to fall in July, when it declined 11.4 percent compared to the same period last year, according to data produced by national statistics institute, INEGI. Production fell almost across the board, with the exception of coal, coke and iron ore. Gold mining fell 10.6 percent, while silver production dropped 13.7 percent. The decline in the industry is due to low international prices and demand, as well as stoppages in some mines.
