You are again illustrating ignorance of the Indian policy.

Under the veneer of an open statement that "Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India," Jaswant Singh has stated on Indian TV that India would consider all proposals including the LOC as an international boarder between India and Pakistan (because the part of Kashmir occupied by Pakistan is mostly useless for India), but that India would not propose such a policy. This statement was to indicate to the USA to force Pakistan to propose the LOC as an international boarder subject to some adjustment.

You are very shallow on Indian policies, contrary to your assertions here. You fail to see that USA is simply chanting the slogan that India is indicating towards Pakistan, e.g., continuance of financial aid to Pakistan, helping Pakistan to not disintegrate, forcing the ISI to behave, forcing the Pakistani Army to follow the grand Indian policy for peace and prosperity in the subcontinent, keeping Sharif in power (remember George Fernandes was the first to state that Sharif was not involved in Kargil), keep the Lahore peace process to resolve all disputes bilaterally, etc., - all contrary to the evil British advice.

Were it not for all the countries they looted and now the North sea oil, Britain would be a 3rd world country. U dont hear of too many brits coming over to the Sillycon valley to program the computers. They mostly come for South india.

And as far as US twisting arms, thats really funny. In this day and age No one can twist anyones arms unless they want their arm twisted.
