Thanks Cheryl: I'm not a hard-hearted guy (I mean Java Simulant -- ask Pamina if you want to know what this means), and it hurts me to speak badly of any technical organization that has really worked hard. HP should never have moved away from Unix. They should never have sold out to Microsoft. They probably shouldn't have abandoned PA-RISC for Merced. I hope they can salvage their Unix/OS business. I can rest easy this weekend, knowing you weren't offended. P.
