At last, Mephisto has resigned himself to the fact that he has to take an anti-histamine every night.

He actually waits for us to give it to him.

The other night I had to do it on my own. I didn't think I could manage but M sat unsteadily without support for his back while I popped it down his throat.

That's a good idea about butter. I might try that.
