Joan, thanks again for the information. Regarding your question: What do you mean when you ask whether the refugees are "inclined to assimilate"? I was asking whether the refugees were at all inclined to stay where they were, rather than going back. From your answer, I gather that most would prefer to go back as soon as possible. It looks like that may take a while. Do you think that the US will support the Russians in the UN, if it comes to that, in return for Russian support for our various adventures?
