Let's go back now and look at two of the earliest news releases involving LFT. First, the one-and-only news release ever issued by LFT, issued May 13, 1999. In this news release, LT claims: The fundamental purpose of the Trust is to generate funds with which to meet various charitable objectives; including the provision of food to the hungry, clothes and shelter to the needy, education to the unlearned and to minister to the spiritual needs of all people. In addition, to provide financial support for the local, national and international ministries which are based on the principles of the Bible. What a holy lady, that Jeanette Wilcher is. And to think that she can pay investors 2 1/2% per week interest, and keep her nice expensive house, on top of doing all those fine charitable things. What a marvel she is!
