I'll have to re-read the Real announcement ... did they invest millions of dollars also?

I know that Inktomi invested in Sandpiper ... didn't see that Real had. I always tend to think that when you put millions of dollars in, you have a little more skin in the game ...

AKAM also provides network services to Apple for QuickTime streaming content. AKAM and AAPL have already established over 1,000 streaming POPs for QT services.

AAPL also made an investment in AKAM previous to CSCO's and MSFT's investment.

So AKAM appears to be an unbiased provider, at this point.
