Jim, Hehe, that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me... Actually I wrote it tongue-in-cheek. Although I did get somewhat close at one time. I was on the phone with Kernan for about 5 minutes when Harrahs shut down their New Orleans casino 3 years ago. Was working for a 2-bit investment banking house here in New Orleans, turned out, I was the only analyst in the country who correctly predicted (before it opened) that it would fail. When they closed it down, I got to speak to Kernan...no air time for me, but he was a true gentleman none-the-less. As it turned out, (egg on my face) the only reason he was talking to me was because I was the only gaming analyst in the country who wasn't on the conference call...simply because Harrahs wouldn't allow me on due to the repetitive negative things I had written about their forthcoming New Orleans debacle. I slammed them (Harrahs) pretty hard on a few stories that wound up on Dow Jones News. I guess I had the last laugh on them, though. Gary
