I thought that your god could do anything. Is it beyond His power to create a universe, that was still free, but did not contain evil. Is He all powerful or not? Don't know for sure. Can't figure out how you could have freedom without having the power to choose to do evil. Does this mean that in this one respect, at least, God's power is limited? I don't know. Maybe. So what do you think? OTOH, if you wanted to move to another neighborhood, would you pick one with a record of many evil deeds being done, or a neighborhood which was peaceful and friendly? If you picked a neighborhood that was peaceful and friendly, would you consider your freedom being taken away? Actually, exercising my freedom, I just did move to a more peaceful and safer neighborhood. In one respect, my freedom actually is more constrained now as my mortgage amount and term doubled. I feel a little too groggy right now to think about what theological and philosophical connections this might have to anything. ÿ
