Pardon me? You're suggesting that AOL already has the network in place so adding
hundreds of thousands of customers won't force them to expand that network. What,
AOL has a lot of unused capacity sitting around? I don't think so.

I didn't make up my comments, they come from Bob Pittman. He said this in each of the last 2 quarterly CC's. If you believe I am hearing him wrong, and you want to check it out for yourself, just listen to the CC's.

They are doing it for market share,
establishing a slightly different brand for business users and hoping the customers stay
longer than 36 months. A "business" brand attracts a different kind of advertiser than
AOL attracts.

Again Steve, I have to disagree with you. When AOL bought Compuserve, it appealed to a different user than the typical AOL subscriber. AOL has been very clear that they are repositioning compuserve as their value brand, this is not a business brand.
