Another over reaction by wall street. It's kind of exciting to watch especially when it gives us an opportunity to pick up cheap stock. I will admit this guy stone was an asset to Novell, but was he worth 680million in market cap? I don't think so. This stock will rebound next week, especially on tuesday when they reassure the street about business momentum. Just last week at the montgomery conference they exuded confidence about current business trends. I hope the company understands that jittery markets causes over reactions, therefore, they need to come out swinging next week to reassure holders that it is worth buying more stock at these levels.

I bet you see this at 22 by thursday. Any thoughts out there?

Well ... no. In talking with the Network Architects of both Excite@Home and AOL, they both expressed the same perspective. Novell's caching technologies are extremely advanced and high-performance technologies, but are not a "standard" development platform to develop applications on top of the proxy/cache infrastructure.

One of the gentlemen expressed that he thought Novell could be able to dominate in the business and small ISP market, but that their network just didn't fit. They both are running Inktomi ...

But both these networks represent a small number of caches compared to business and small ISP ... so Novell has room to grow!

Don't know ...
