You are absolutely Correct in regard to this path..However I believe you will find that George Bush was the behind the scenes Shaper of our future. I have no doubt that his Son
GWB will follow..and since I am a legal resident of Florida..
We have Jeb Bush already beginning to change the moldy' Politics of the "Good Old Boy" Politics..and I could not be happier..The isue that concerns me..Is that old Zero year is upon us and every President elected in that year has died in office and I believe most by assassi nation..If you recall Ronald Reagan was shot and came near death..A young Secret Serviceman was killed in the attempt..am I coerrect...Lisa

>Leadership is about having a vision, being trusted and enrolling followship. <

Yeah- but I don't like leaders or followers. Leadership is highly over-rated imo. Hitler was a good leader, and Mao and Stalin and Lenin and Hirohito - who cares if someone is a good leader? The ONLY thing that matters to me is WHERE they are going, and how many people they are going to hurt getting there.

Well, one important point that seems to be constantly overlooked is that by the late '80s and early '90s it became clear that Reaganomics and the completely wide open American markets had allowed the Asian tigers to dive right in and destroy a bunch of key industries such as consumer electronics, while at the same time the Asian mkts remained completely closed. Business turned their back Reaganomics en-masse and chose to support Clinton for president over Bush in '92. A lot of other things defeated Bush too, I understand.

I wonder how much of this chanting about Reagan being the best president of the last 50 yrs is coming from the business elite. Not that much I suspect... its mostly touchy feely commentary, etc. Nothing against Reagan here, just wanted to point this out. On global economic issues Reagan was such an incredible disaster.
