Thread, thanks for your viewpoints and knowledge in these technical areas.

I would agree with you Frank that GBLX is trying to leverage their network to provide more end user services to generate greater revenues. The landscape will change in the next couple of years in terms of who will provide services. An international presence for local markets would be an asset, but given the vast number of markets that GBLX has their fiber in, I would conclude that it will likely be a different company in each geographic region/continent.

Also, in terms of local/national networks outside of North America, who has/will have fiber as the basis for their network?

Frank, we expect more from you that this vague guess that is nothing more that a regurgitation of public statements made by Winnick and friends.
...it is for this reason that I would be looking for GBLX to create or acquire a lean, next gen type of international multiservice carrier with local exchange competence, with little or no legacy traits, except for those which are readily migratable.

Since history has shown that you are one of the most influentual forces driving this company, please resubmit my request for the removal of Jenny Chowder.

TIA

btw, i am still listening to the Gilder Connference. So far: duh, put everything into this company and don't look at the stock price for 3 years.
