I learned a ton. It's the biggest investment conference anywhere. There were a couple hundred companies presenting over five days, close to fifty industry workshops, and more than a thousand attendees.

This is a broad conference. Not just technology. There are companies in retail, finance, energy, technology, health care, etc.

Some of just the technology names that presented were Microsoft, Amazon, Yahoo, AOL, Nortel, Motorola, Verity, Infosys, Asyst, Jabil, Atmel, Insight, Siebel, EMC, Micron, Teradyne, Solectron, Flextronics, SCI Systems, Legato, Veritas, JDS Uniphase, Silknet, Excite@Home, Dell, Cisco, MCI WorldCom, AT&T, DoubleClick, Medtronic, RF Micro, Exodus, Phone.com, Sanmina, Orbital Sciences...these just on Monday and Tuesday! You get the idea.

It's impossible to see them all because there are four presentations and four break-out sessions occuring simultaneously from about 7AM until 5PM or so.
