This guy has his facts wrong. NO FURTHER Effort on RDRAM
until the situation is completely under control. I think you
will hear Samsung has already published this Friday and
Hyundai will on Monday.
I would forget this report completely

i think you will find that samsung has remained silent about the whole issue. if you can provide a link to a samsung news release i'll eat my words.
so far we have an american reporter with an uncorroborated report saying samsung is not going to start one new rmbs production line.
we have a korean reporter saying they are all buying rdram production equipment.
why do you suggest we believe one and not the other?

Has anyone actually seen a Samsung press release. All I have seen is an article quoting a Samsung executive but as we have seen in the past, these electronic tabloids quote folks all of the time and do it inaccuratley. I point out to the IBM quote several weeks ago which IBM said was false.

Yes, if I'm reading the post right from unclewest it looks to me like it was published on Friday at 23:55 EST, five minutes before Sat. morning, Oct 2.
