You are right on in regards to smallest bit of good news will move AOL up. It is waiting to 'explode' up. I find it hard to believe that anyone would think otherwise. But then I have a friend who is in to gold so I suppose it takes all types to make up the world

Ditto on the market. The down draft is mostly a done deal. I think the Internets and particularly AOL will bound upwards. There is a ton of money to be made here.

Interesting Louis Rukeyser PBS program last night. It was all about the Internet. I came away from that program with a compelling urge to buy anything that has to do with the Internet.

It's much easier for the MM or fund manager to pump up AMZN than AOL. AMZN's share float is only 16% of that of AOL's, and about 20% of its market cap. Before the crazy short squeeze in AMZN, 40% of its float shares were shorted. Among the blue chip net issues, AMZN is the only one that can benefit from a deep squeeze, while AOL is the least.

I was very bullish on AOL when its was in low 80s. I gave my reasoning in mail to Vendit. Right now I am neutral on this issue. However, since we are still in the greatest bull market in human history, anything is possible for AOL.
