Larry, Thoughts concerning ELF, more news and more wheelin & dealin, North Sea expansion, enter ARCO package along with ELF. Some stats to size it up. "This agreement in principle complements the transaction with Elf Exploration UK PLC and Elf Transportation Ltd. (``Elf') announced on October 1, 1999, comprising a similar package of Fourth Round Assets. Upon completion of both the ARCO and Elf transactions, expected in the first quarter of 2000, Talisman's net share of production from these fields would be approximately 37,000 bbls/d."
