Re: AMD has the fastest CPU in the world AND the same stock price...

Paul, you have said yourself that you thought that Intel's stock price was getting a bit ahead of itself when its market cap was at $300 Billion. Intel is a fine company and will do well over the coming years - but I expect it to be slow, steady growth after an upcoming 2 to 3 quarter pause - not what it has had in the past.

AMD is priced very low right now, with a market cap of about $2.6 Billion, I would guess that you wouldn't be too surprised to see it move up quite a bit by the end of the year. I think that Intel is worth between 6 and 12 times as much as AMD is, not 115 times as much as it was priced last week, nor 98 times as much as it is priced now. I think Intel will come down some more, and AMD will move up quite a lot.

We'll all see what happens over the next few months, I am patient and very confident. Remember when I posted that AMDs motherboard nightmare had ended and Intel's was about to begin? That was on September 4.
