Personally attacking someone for pointing out one of your duplicitous statements reveals more of what you think of yourself than what you think of me. Whether your sense of humor is the same as mine is irrelevant, but hurling personal attacks around and assuming you know a thing about my self-worth demeans you, not me. Ironically, that is the type of behavior I found so offensive from A@P when he was around. I don't follow you, so I am not aware of whether you likewise lash out inappropriately, but I'm getting a hint. I took issue with your hypocritical statement, the "do as I say, not as I do' attitude, not your right to promote yourself in any way that you wish. I wouldn't think of begrudging you that, just as you shouldn't begrudge me having fun in my profile. In addition, contrary to your assertion, I never asked you to remove your profile. I only asked you whether your duplicitous statement applied to you as equally as you would have it apply to others, and made a suggestion as to how to rectify the discrepancy. If it does, then my suggestion is worthwhile. Your answer makes it clear that it doesn't (though you said you wouldn't answer, you went on to do just that). I had (and have) no beef with you. I asked a simple question based on what was to anyone reading the post, a contradiction. You have made the answer completely clear, and also taken the opportunity to attack me personally. I won't return the favor, despite the temptation. This thread will not suffer more of what I have been complaining about because of me getting into a pi--ing match with you. I simply won't engage.
