Oh I just got to chime in here:

<<sold my shares this week at $29, taking a fairly nice loss, to buy DCLK.>>

Yeah Boy. Invest, errrr I mean gamble right on. We need look no further that that one statement to see what the whole trouble is with the market. Its this type of counterintuitive thinking that allows profitable companies like NITE to fall to these levels. Sell profitable NITE at 29, with a less than growth rate PE of 26, and take a loss even, and then Buy money losing DCLK at some ridiculous price way above $100? Good grief!?! Give me a break. And you have to be kidding.

Thank goodness there are on-line gamblers such as yourself who allow me to actually make some money investing. My guess is that within a relatively short time you will have some very very deep regrets over selling NITE at a loss to buy DCLK. You just keep ignoring fundamentals and pretty soon you'll be worrying more about buying food and shelter than stocks <GGGG) Cheers.

This is another example where I have been shot relying on fundamentals. On one hand, it is sad, but on the other
hand, I should have understood that sooner, and saved some money.

LL,

This market is really sad. I jave take quite a hit the last 18 months relying on fundamentals. The person that really wise me up to this is Jan Crawley. She took a hit shorting or buying puts on AMZN and then through very hard work, learned to buy it low and sell it high. She has done this with other stocks too. I know she can explain her method far better than I but she seems to locate who holds most of the float, the current short position, etc. and does this well.

FWIW, if NITE is still in the 30's or 40's after New year's, I'll get back in after DCLK runs for the holidays.

I could not agree more.

Glenn
