I wouldn't be surprised if Intel gets VERY AGGRESSIVE with Coppermine pricing - for the reasons you mentioned - it is MUCH CHEAPER to produce than current Pentium IIIs.

In fact, Intel may use the Coppeermine to blast away AMD's AthFlop pricing structure.
