Well, I didn't really mean to be taking jabs at anyone or scoring points. Problems like those with the 810 can and do happen to everyone.

The reason for my posting on this subject is to suggest that there may be a serious problem with the manufacturing and test flow with Rdram if sufficient testing on individual components cannot be done to guarantee that they work when placed together in a system. Perhaps the Rambus technology just doesn't have enough margin to allow testers which need their own guardbanding to over test enough to ensure the dut meets spec. Might have a fundamental problem here.
