The funny thing would be to have Notbright lecturing the Russians not to target civilian targets! There was a post here by someone who lived in Chechnya...I would love to hear his comments on the situation.

goldsnow, The terrorist bombings in Moscow I think had something to do with Yeltsin taking action. He is gonna make those Islamics feel some pain. Anyway, the history lesson you gave me about just sounds like America and its involvement in Hawaii, Texas, Cuba, the Phillipines, Guam, California..etc...etc... Its funny how US Presidents run around telling other nations they can't act when our entire history has been the destruction of other nations and cultures. I for one am not a hypocrite, at least most of the time :) -John ps Did you know that the Russians, or "Rus" as they used to be called, were actually Swedish Vikings? The Russians actually belong in Scandinavia, not Moscow. The Celts used to own Europe and everyone kicked their sses. The Celts took Europe from previous bronze age cultures who took it from stone age cultures who took it from the Neanderthals...and previous to that someone was there but not enough evidence is around to figure out who they were...
