I think we need to remember, in this election year, that any man -- or woman -- who runs for President in this country has got to be a total egomaniac. That seems so obvious to me that I am not even going to argue it. <g> In some cases, the ego is gratified by sheer power; in others, by the opportunity to show off, to indulge an exhibitionist streak; or whatever.

In any event, the "best" people never go for the Presidency. For one thing, they are too sane.

So it behooves us to start thinking: which of the contenders (forget their programs, political philosophies) is the least loony of the lot?

I still go for Bradley (although I'm not a follower either, X).
