I read this on a german board, but couldn't find any evidence on the softbank pages. Softbank formed apparently a wholly owned subsidiary, named Softbank Commerce Corp. with a capital of Y 5 trillion. The activities eshopping, toyscorp and es books will be part of commerce corp. Hereafter the german text: Die japanische Softbank Corp (SFT.FSE) hat das 100-prozentige Tochterunternehmen Softbank Commerce Corp gegründet. Die auf den elektronischen Handel spezialisierte Tochter werde mit einem Kapital von 5 Mrd. Yen ausgerüstet, teilte der Internet-Konzern am Freitag mit. Mit der Gründung der Softbank Commerce Corp hat Softbank nach eigenen Angaben die Umwandlung zu einer reinen Beteiligungsgesellschaft abgeschlossen.
