Those items you mentioned are not good comparisons. VIXL offered them money to stay with their product because SUNW was tired of the high failure rate. It is not like they were offering them stock to lure their business in the first place, but in fact to keep it.

There are several incorrect statements in your post:

1. ANCR offered UP to 1.5 million warrants to SUNW.
2. For SUNW to obtain them all, they had to buy $100,000,000
in Ancor switches within 3 years.
3. In contrast, the warrants provided to SUNW by VIXEL did NOT
require any purchase of Vixel product but were given to make right
the delivery to SUNW of unreliable VIXEL hardware.
