All I know about Gemstar is that (the soon-to-be-gone) Mr. Benjamin likes it a lot. I have a friend who does business with them who keeps telling me to buy it.

American Airlines, Pets.com and others, but the buzz was Wal-Mart.

I'm convinced BroadVision will become the SAP of e-commerce. No one, not even Wal-Mart, can afford the time to develop a custom e-commerce solution any longer. The effort is too complex, the race to go live is too fast now, and BroadVision has the only comprehensive offering. The way I see it they offer "Amazon-in-a-box", and their market lead in this applications space is unchallenged.
