I'll still take that over someone just reading a teleprompter with stuff that someone else wrote. The volume probably has more to do with the noise on the floor than anything else. She sure isn't that loud in the studio.

Frankly, I don't think there is much more "self-promotion" at CNBC than any other new shop....they all like to take credit (or at least claim it) for the news they report.

I also think that she does the floor job better than 90%+ of most others could. Very little preparation time, lots of info to sort out, no time to script it: impromptu at its essence most of the time. A couple weeks ago, I was out of town and saw someone else on some other channel reporting from the NYSE floor. It was terrible.

My opinion.
