I know....

I used to date one. Well, at least he thought he was world class.

Matter of fact, if I ever get the energy to get moving here I might go test the waters myself. Looking out the window I see some small (yet nice) little sets coming in and a few people already out. Trouble is I didnt get in till about 1:30am last evening and I feel it.

I might call a friend and see if Cardiff reef is cranking. If not, at least I can go get a 3 egg Mexican omelette at a spot overlooking the break.

I wish it were Monday already....

I remember years ago seeing pictures of Larry Bertlemen ripping up Ala Moana in Waikiki. I spent a winter in Puerto Rico when I was 19, my first experience with a reef point break called Maria's. It was a lot different then riding beach breaks in New Jersey. On big days there was a rip current heading out to sea in a channel at the end of the point, almost drowned and lost my board to the ocean one day. Ttyl, off to the park at the beach.
