bill, thx for the reminder, i have my eyes on lu and Intc. Especially since Barrons article is really going to help us get a new entry into intc.

here is some recent MERLynch updates. Lu is forgotten and I love it cuz i think we are getting a great entry for LU, once ernings are announced we will get LU upgrades on this list.

On 9/30/99, MERQ target raised from $45 to $78
On 9/29/99, IBM removed; MERQ added
On 9/27/99, INTC target maintained at $100
On 9/24/99, MOT upgraded from 2-1 to 1-1, target unchanged at $109
On 9/16/99, MOT target lowered from $112 to $109
On 9/15/99, NT target raised from $50 to $60
On 9/15/99, ORCL target maintained at $55
On 9/13/99, CSCO upgraded from 2-1 to 1-1, target raised from $80 to $85

Bill. Thanks for the info on LU. Some analysts certainly are badmouthing LU for the short term. PE etc. I guess you can tell by the way LU is being sold off.

I don't care. I have it for the long term to begin with. Have not changed my position in LU since 97. The shares just keep multiplying.

It looks like the more contracts LU gets, the more the sell off. gg.

Are you still holding to your Oct. 5th market bottom? I am leaving for the Outer Banks of NC later this week and that has always been a market bottom after it bottoms more for a cpl of days while I am down there. gg.

Let's hope the FED stays tight.
