rudedog,

I am sorry to confuse you in my post to Lee. I should not mention your name. I just tried to demonstrate her why some rules are not working all the times.

I beg your pardon - do you mean my first put sale on DELL this year, or what?

YES. YES. I think everyone knows what you did on Friday. And your sell together with Feb's sell were about 1000 contracts. And it made the market makers bought 50,000 DELL to hedge. Nobody takes risk. Don't ask me why they bought those shares...

Depends on the premium, and why DELL went down.
Why DELL went down? I don't know. Does anyone know? I am very sure one day DELL will go to zero, like everything else. Maybe not in my lifetime.

Can you justify this statement with changes in put premiums in say jan 1998 or jan 1997? at what strike? Do you know what you are talking about? I'm pretty confused by this post.

I explained this in the post to Lee. Sorry for the confusion.

I appreciate your knowledge about the computer industries, but I find little help from your knowledge in the market. You used to be very patient due to you have teen sons. i further appreciate the then-rudedog. You are probably the king in your domain, but the market does not know you. Over time a lot of things will be gone, only memory left on me. Yours maybe just short memory. :-)
