Goldnow,

Russians will try to make an example of Chechnya! If "Koba"
didn't suceed, then Yeltsin will not! You remember Koba? gg

In 1996 Russians didn't pulled out but promised to settle
the Chechnyans problem by 2001! They are 2 years ahead of
schadual! Yeltsin feels he as the consus and he will make
the biggest political mistake of his political life! I beleive US and West will be invloved sooner or later maybe
in peace keeping or god knows what! This is not Moldava
or Krim and these are not Tatars or Goldi's? gg

Goldsnow,

Yea, I'm not sure what the future holds for Russia. It
is a nation with enormous potential but they always
manage to shoot themselves in the foot somehow. It must
be something of a Slavic tradition to doom yourself to
misery.
