David,

You have perked my interests with this cycling stuff.

Golf was kind of lousy despite a superb day. Started out par, par, (good for a high handicapper like me) then started thinking about the Technology Adoption Cycle on the 5th hole and never refocused. I played abnormally poorly. Bit of a bummer since I would have liked a good round to set me up for Whistling Straits and the Blackwolf Run courses at the Koehler resort in WI, that I'll be playing end of week.

<< definitely University of Waterloo in Ontario; Bill Gates and company have taken hundreds of grads from UWaterloo during the last 20 years ... some of the best hardware and software engineers graduate from UWaterloo every year >>

Thats it. Young lady that joined my then company from Nortel told me about the Gates recruiting effort there, which I was unaware of.

It figures. There is an absolute classic "Overview of the Global System for Mobile Communications" by John Scourias of UWaterloo at:

ccnga.uwaterloo.ca

I can't tell you how many times I have referred to this document over recent years.
