Jones: Wouldn't you think that some out of the money puts would provide cheap insurance to holder of longs without having to necessarily bet the farm on selling medium term longs in the face of a possible major up-move? Your right, but since I do not trade options or futures I can not recommend something I do not know well. I have to throw out my ideas and rely on you and the other brains that populate MDA to do what you just did, offer up additional options...<g> I am but a simple investor. Long ago, I decided to specialize at what I do and that did not include options or futures. However, after the first of the year, I have decided to begin to learn more about options and futures and begin to trade later in the year...slowly...<g> Regards, LG
