I don't want the bookmarked lists to go away...I finally made it in June....tied for dead last. I want to get to be at least as popular as Lizzie Tudor before they do away with it.

It will be very tough for me to launch my own Guru Thread from last place.

...if an organization is using SI as the backbone of their money
making operation then they should certainly pay their way.

This is the point I had tried to make a few times a while ago, and no one wanted to hear it. Frankly, the fact that they presently get a free ride is surely why the terminated one (specifically) won't let go, and is using all of his efforts to get back on SI. He's no fool, he knows what SI can do for him. They need to seriously revisit this issue, and make some changes.

Likewise, SI should charge for the use of their brand name on others' sites, just as any other trademark owner does, if it is used to produce income by virtue of that promotion. And, just so there is no misunderstanding, I have seen it used similarly in many other places, not just the site you mentioned, and it is frankly a lost source of revenue for SI.
