re gmst litigation, it is purely a guess but,

GIC's timing will be driven by the MOT acquisition timing. I doubt that MOT would want to pay billions for GI without the suit being settled. This puts GI management under the gun, while Henry seems to be in no rush.

TV Guide seems to be very close to conclusion. Positive statements have been issued by both parties. It could happen any day.

Of course, if you want expert opinion, ask NY Stew.

Jill,

As a loyal G&K thread lurker, and new visitor to the porch here, I just wanted to share with you my GMST options strategy: I bought GMST Nov 80 calls early last week (QLFKP), which have done quite nicely. I'm planning to exercise some and roll the rest over into January calls. This allows to to have a couple of fingers in the pot while we're waiting for the litigation news.

P.S. Can I pull up a rocking chair with you all?
