In any future bull mkt, speculation will be the variable. Speculation will dramatically exacerbate already tight silver inventories, thus price will rise creating more speculation. Also, there is a reason Soros, Buffet and now Gates have all taken very big positions in silver. If anybody knows whats going on its those three! In the 1980 bull mkt I had a lot of friends buy silver. They almost all bought silver, few bought gold, too expensive. The guy in the streets buys silver - poor man's gold. I would be ecstatic to see $400 gold! Anything over that I will consider a miracle. I think they buy silver because they can get more. Forget the value logic.
