"Promissory Oil Production Note" is not the only funny phrase showing up here. We've already subjected this text string, and variants of it, to two searches: search engines and Edgar full-text, and we found nothing, except the the Hitsgalore filings. Nobody but them seems to use this phrase. Well, now I've identified three more funny phrases, all from the May 13 news release by LFT: prime oil and gas fields Geological Reports and Reserve Analysis Geological Engineering Report Here's where they appear in context, in the news release: These prime oil and gas fields* in Central Texas have proven reserves as shown in several Geological Reports and Reserve Analysis, giving a complete Geological Engineering Report.* You might think that at least one of these three phrases would show up somewhere besides her newsrelease. But they don't appear anywhere that I can find them. My searches of excite, altavista, and the Edgar database turned up zero hits for all three phrases, just as they did for the "Promissory Oil Production Note" that appeared in the 10Q. The only thing that came close to a match was a single SEC filing that contained, in separate passages the two terms "geological report" and "reserve analysis." So there we have it, the four funny phrases from the Foundation: Promissory Oil Production Note prime oil and gas fields Geological Reports and Reserve Analysis Geological Engineering Report I especially like the use of Capital Letters. Makes it look like Real Stuff, doesn't it?
