Yes.. in essence that's a banner. But its only a small one and never 'plastered' anywhere else. I try to be as subtle as possible and our thread has Market Gems picks as well as the 'for pay' site. What I endeavored was to take the first two steps back (i.e. doing away with that banner, any advertising off one's own website (which I never do) and even the most bookmarked if that would ease some the ' me too' mentality that made 2 threads to go a little extreme)

I have had that up for 1 year and never a word of criticism so I don't mind if others follow suit. I rarely step off the thread only occasionally to Welcome to SI once in a very long while. I have only one thread and never contemplated another for the last 30 months. Nor have I ever left SI, or had any problem (rather the reverse) until August 8, which was not a problem with SI at all.

I would welcome any changes SI might make, since I'm not averse, especially at this high point in my career to paying a 'toll' Remember however, and I take the liberty of including Anthony Pacific in this.. that both of us have brought some little iota of recognition to SI and more than a few members as I offer intraday updates on SI and lots of customers come to join SI to get the updates. So its a win-win situation. Now what has given both Anthony and myself success is not SI but in keeping our following we have had to create, continue to be prodigious in our 'calls' and keep up the threads and so its a cyclic relationship. We don't just sit back and get attention from SI, its hard work and until you've been in our shoes, there is no way you can appreciate how difficult it is to maintain interest in both our premium site and not lose even one 'threader' from the Market Gems site or any complaint in 30 months.
