thats the whole point, when a hockey player hits someone "too much" they are put into the penality box, it is an expected and integrated part of the game, I once heard the reason why they allow the fights on the ice is because it actually stops harsh attacks snuck in during the real game. People are allowed to punch out, then they are stuck in the corner and Power Play happens.

This I believe is a key concept of SI, the SI jail, it works, it has worked, give us some more clear rules, like here are the lines, they are clear, dont go over them, and it can work.

For example, lets make a rule that we do not publicly threaten lawsuits and those posts are removed, dang either do or do not, there is no try, talk is cheap, serve papers or chicken out, enough of the mamby-pamby pooh pooh. But I agree with SI that personal data should never be tolerated, but someone telling the other that they and there ideas are stuppppppid or worse is OK.

I believe in the freedom to call each other idiots, fools, twits, hypes, scum, I can agree not to use swear words too. Because one perceives themselve to be insulted does not mean they have been done any harm. Nor does stating an opinion that a company is junk, does that hurt a company, there is no right to have stock prices go up. I can say I prefer the taste of Coke to Pepsi and that Pepsi is crappola, its America dang it

The threat of law suits it terrible IMO, and Silicon Investor needs to take a stand, after all they ask us to talk about stocks, then we get sued by companies for doing it. Talk about an attractive nuisance to SI members.

There is a time for lawsuits, I have no question of that, but between to SI members its the equivlant of threatening of running to the teacher and saying "I am going to tell on you"

but why listen to me, I am a Twit. There I am now self inocculated, anyone go ahead flame away, I got marshmellows to cook!
