Anyone ever traded with a Bloomberg? I see from the Bloomberg news site you can order the system. They recommend a Compaq computer.

I just wonder for $1500/mo. if it is any better?

This is a fascinating thread, and I promised myself to stay off SI today.

Eric,

The issue not execution, it's the setup. I believe RealTick III and CyberTrader have programmable hot keys. I.e., a hot key that will "Buy on the Ask from ISLD" by pressing one button or something like that. CyberX does not have this feature; I wish it did. My perception is that this would save a few seconds, which could be valuable to a scalper.

Remember one thing, I'm a CyberX fan! Unless new versions of CyberTrader or a RealTick III-based system have significantly improved analysis and charting tools, they can't hold a candle to QCharts. Therefore, as a short-term position trader, CyberX + QCharts are a great combination. Great Tools! I'm just trying to be somewhat objective about non-CyberX systems.

Regards,

Dan.
