I'm not too sure about 'value' of that system.

EDIT: Oops, looked at the price. ($549 isn't bad...but you still have no monitor, and have to buy a 3 year membership to MSN for the full rebate. Forget about it.

The specifications aren't very impressive....

1 pci slot -- doesn't leave room for advancement
integraded sound -- ick
8mb AGP video available -- does that mean you pay extra?
150 watt power supply - need I say more?
corel suite 7 -- that's an ancient version.

All in all, it sounds like old stock being dumped. I'll compare prices tomorrow, but at first glance, I'm not impressed. Try and find another system for $1000 and compare the specs.

BWDIK?

Best Buys has a Monorail Pentium 450MHz/8.4G/64M/DVD for $799.00 in their stores if anyone is looking.

The Monorails may not give one the greatest expansion but the price is right.

I played with the new Anthon (SP) when I was over at Best Buy today. That sucker is pretty quick. I can't imagine all the patches one would need to get their programs running.

I guess they caught the error. It now shows it at full price less MSN $400 "rebate"
