I merely said we accept boundaries the way they sort of are now- and not go back 100 years, or 1000 years or even 10 years- so, for example, it is too late to apply my philosophy of protecting sovereign nations ot Tibet.

I don't think I actually ever articulated exactly what I thought the US should support. I was only trying to delimit when we should interfere militarily. I think you inferred too much from what I said.
