greg - Re: "I thought RDRAM intro's were delayed for the time being."

Those mailers clearly went to press/mail before the Intel withdrawal of the CAMINO/RAMBUS chip set.

I suggest you save them in your "collectible" place. In the future, when Intel has either gone out of business - or gone ON to bigger and better things - those flyers may be worth a good chuckle, if not a few dollars for collectible memorabilia.

Greg,

Dell put out a notice recently.

dell.com

"Notice Regarding Dell Dimension® XPS B
Unfortunately, based on late-breaking developments from Intel®, Dell cannot take orders on any Dimension XPS B advertised products that feature the Intel 820 chipset and Rambus technology.

We regret any inconvenience that this will cause. Please know that we are committed to selling only products that meet our customers' quality expectations, such as the current industry-leading desktops using SDRAM.

The Dimension XPS B series is the only Dimension product impacted by this. This does not affect the Dimension XPS T or L series. Our high performance, Pentium III Dimension T series systems are available today!"
