You don't get it- i am talking about mobs carrying out the work of their leaders. I think most mobs are composed of the uneducated. If Hitler had only been allowed into art school would we have been spared the Nazis? I am talking on a larger scale than mere individual murders- and serial killings are such a statistical aberration that they are of no importance to my model. >The preponderance of murderers have been governments< A government is NOT a murderer- people who carry out the governments policies are the murderers- the people who actually hack someone apart, or gas them, or torture them to death- THAT is real murder. For convenience at war crimes trials we say - the man who gave the order is responsible- but if NO MAN would carry out the order there would be none of these kinds of murders. I HATE this depersonalization. PEOPLE are responsible for their actions- even people who claim to be following orders.
