<Do these patronizing groups think parents are so averse to being 'inconvenienced" that they would rather risk their children's health then return to the pediatrican's office a few more times? > Yea, the MRK person was just plain sad... I couldn't believe she was saying it was a bad idea to break up the regime rather than give all the vaccines at once... does that make any sense? Do you have to be an immune specialist to get the logic there? <Besides, children would not be allowed to start school, if they didn't get the appropriate vaccines. The timetable of vaccination should not matter to schools or parents, if they are still as effective. > Exactly <Dan Burton, a House Rep said. He believes his grandchild became autistic from vaccines and he said he will not rest until something is done.> Yea, it's sad the way many doctors assume that peoples emotions are running away with them... as if they don't really see what happend, they just think they did. You can be damn sure these people think that vaccines set off the kid... wouldn't you follow up on this? To a lay person the guy from AAP sounded like they looked into it and it's not true. In reality, there is no 'good' scientific [that was rich.. no 'good' evidence] evidence showing cause... well of course not! No one has done a scientific study, who's going to do it... MRK? Anyway, I wish they had talked more about treatment so people could see all the stuff that can be done.... they focused on the sexy stuff... autistic kid vs big bad vaccines. Many people don't know about the recovery process, and think it's just something they have to live with. DAK
