One of my favorites, Benjamin Tucker, was enamored with Bakunin. He would sell Bakunin's works in his magazine Liberty. I think by 1888 though, he began to reassess him and concluded he was more a communist than an anarchist and fell out of favor. I don't know which fellow adjusted their views. Tucker always liked Bakunin's God and the State, even in the later years.

I am more drawn to Proudhon. His vision of small independent farmers and artisans entwined in a system of mutual agreements closely resembles Belloc's and Chesterton's vision.
